Despite the different types of RP. This thread is designed to help you submit your own character and clarify what you have to do in order to be able to submit. If you require further help, or if you have questions then post below vvv
Your first step to submitting a character is to decide what kind of RP you will be using your character for. If you require help distinguishing between the types of RP then head over to the The RPs thread. Here is a quick overview of the basic information.
*FREESTYLE RPS
Submission for a Freestyle RP isn't obligatory at all but it is recommended. Posting character information serves as character profile for people to be able to learn a bit more about your character and keep track of things like appearance and skills, strengths and weaknesses. There are no rules as to how much information you post, you don't have to use the template if you don't want to!
*ORIGINAL, HISTORY OF ICE AND FIRE AND WHAT IF? RPS
Submitting a character for either of these RPs requires a formal submission to play with your character. To submit a character you must fill out a form, filling in all the details required and following the rules that have been placed. Your character must be accepted by the Admin or RP Leader before you can use them in either of these RPs.
*SUBMITTING CHARACTERS
To submit a character, make a whole thread for that character. Your Thread should be titled using your character's full name and any formal titles (eg. Lord Eddard Stark, please don't do Daenarys Targaryen, the Mother of Dragons, the Unburnt, Mysha, and so on and so forth).
*WHERE TO SUBMIT?
For Freestyle RPs, there is a board created purely for these characters, called the Freestyle Characters board which is purely reserved for any character that will be used solely in Freestyle RPs.
For submissions to the other RPs, they should be placed within the Character Library area where they will await be looked over by the RP Leaders to check if your OC matches the requirements for the RPs you've requested for them to join.
*WHAT NEXT?
If you were submitting for the Freestyle then good on you! You don't need anybody to approve your character just start or continue RPing with him/her any time. You are allowed to edit your character any time you wish or add things in if you might have wanted to keep a part of their history a secret or something like that!
If you were submitting into the Character Library, then you have to wait until your character is approved before starting to RP. You may be asked to change some details before your character is accepted but once your character has been accepted then you start RPing with him/her. If you want to edit something about your character ask permission first before you do!
*CAN I USE MY CHARACTER IN MORE THAN ONE RP?
Yes! You can use your characters in as many different story lines as you want! Characters you submit for the Original, History of Ice and Fire and What If? RPs can be used for any of the Freestyle RPs.
If you have a Freestyle character you wish to integrate into another type of RP, you need to formally submit him or her into the Pending section.
*WHAT IF DIFFERENT RPS HAVE DIFFERENT REQUIREMENTS FOR MY CHARACTER?
In this case, you are allowed to edit the original application and add any changes to the personality, status or other areas of information that you want RP Leaders to take into consideration underneath the application. You can do this like so:
